Blueberry Basil Smoothie

Seattle, we have arrived! My apologies on the O/ N/ T pause.

We have been on the road, traveling, and enjoying this thing we call life.  We have officially landed in our new city, and  a new chapter of our lives begins. New beginnings for our marriage, careers, education, and a new livelihood in Seattle. It has been an exciting last four months of travel, exploration, and simply being. There is something so beautiful about living on the edge, on the road, camping, being one with nature.  And it is not always easy.  There are challenges, ups and down, and it’s all part of the experience. Stay Tuned for upcoming 'Thrive Travel' content.

We love Seattle! Although, Houston we do miss you along with our friends, family, and community! The PNW is lush, with lots to explore outdoors, markets filling the streets, endless physical activities, and cool misty mornings. The city is so inviting.  Due to the mild temperatures everything grows here. I am not kidding. You could plant an avocado seed and it would grow.  Rosemary, basil, and lavender bushes fill the street. Today's new smoothie concoction is inspired by the vibrant growth of Seattle and seeing all the fresh basil growing all around. Enjoy this refreshing, blueberry basil smoothie. Wow, it’s nice to have a kitchen again. I hope you enjoy this smoothie as much as I do!
