Winter Blackberry Oats

New Year, New Breakfast! These oats are my favorite on a cozy cold winter morning, which is not saying much being in Texas.  They are healthy, light, and so satisfying. The textures of the gooey oats with the soft crisp apples compliment deliciously together. Feel free to mix up the berries, use your favorite apples, and make your own creation. Do not forget the cinnamon and enjoy this quick, easy, and healthy recipe.

Cinnamon is full of antioxidants. Antioxidants are the powerful molecules that protect the body from oxidative damage from free radicals. This incredible spice is also a great anti-inflammatory that has been used medicinally for centuries. It is a natural antibiotic and also helps protect against bacteria in the mouth.
